Continuing its push across the Americas, Delasport has entered Alberta – its second Canadian market – after receiving two supplier registrations from the province’s regulator, Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).

The dual approval, covering the Platform Provider and Critical Gaming Systems Supplier categories, allows Delasport to bring its proprietary Sportsbook, Casino Aggregation and Player Account Management technology, backed by its Managed Services offering, to operators in Alberta’s newly opened regulated market, live since 13 July 2026.

The step strengthens Delasport’s Canadian footprint following its Ontario launch, where TitanPlay, Maverick Games and Betnova operate on its platform, and signals continued focus on regulated markets across the Americas.

The Canadian opportunity is sizeable. Ontario alone generated CA$82.7 billion in wagers and CA$3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue in fiscal 2024-25, according to iGaming Ontario. In Alberta, where the government estimates around 70% of iGaming activity remains unregulated, H2 Gambling Capital forecasts roughly CA$1.2 billion in first-year gross gaming revenue for the new market.

Delasport enters with its compliance groundwork in place: its platform is integrated with Alberta’s Central Self-Exclusion system and set up for the AGLC’s automatic daily, weekly and monthly reporting, while in Ontario it recently helped TitanPlay secure a first-attempt RG Check Accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council with a very high overall score.

“Our success in Ontario shows we have the technology, expertise and operational capability to help operators succeed in highly regulated Canadian markets – and we’re ready to support partners entering Alberta,” said Filippo Ferri, Chief Compliance Officer at Delasport.

Delasport is an award-winning global iGaming technology provider delivering sportsbook, casino, player account management and managed services to operators across regulated markets. Learn more at delasport.com.
